Job summary

Opal Sol in Clearwater Beach, Florida is seeking a Maintenance Tech to manage upkeep and repair duties, including water testing and pool maintenance. Ideal candidates will have previous experience in pool systems, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform daily water testing and maintain proper chemical balance.
• Clean and maintain pools, spas, and hot tubs.
• Inspect and service pool and hot tub equipment.
• Monitor and adjust chemical levels as required.
• Identify and report maintenance issues promptly.
• Respond to guest room calls in a timely manner.

Maintenance Techs will be responsible for all upkeep and repair duties including identifying the need for repairs, responding to guests’ maintenance requests, and servicing company equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily water testing and maintain proper chemical balance (chlorine, pH, alkalinity, etc.)
• Clean and maintain pools, spas, and hot tubs (vacuuming, skimming, brushing, and surface cleaning)
• Inspect and service pool and hot tub equipment including pumps, heaters, filters, and circulation systems
• Monitor and adjust chemical levels for both pools and hot tubs as required
• Identify and report maintenance issues or needed repairs promptly
• Maintain accurate service and chemical logs in compliance with safety and health regulations
• Follow all company, state, and local safety and sanitation standards
• While walking throughout the property, make note of items in need of attention
• Respond to guest room calls/maintenance calls in a timely manner
• Keep all maintenance storage areas neat and clean
• Be an active participant in inventory control
