Job summary

Kroger in Plano, TX is hiring a part-time Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists, dispense medications, and ensure HIPAA compliance. You will assist with reception, data entry, adjudication and patient care under state laws.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of national registration, certification or licensure.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Any previous comparable experience as a pharmacy technician is a plus.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information per HIPAA.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in responsibilities while not requiring professional judgement.
• Provide exceptional customer service and accurate data entry, adjudication and dispensing.
• Support clinic and non-dispensing services using platforms and applications.
• Perform CLIA-waived screenings in compliance with state and federal law.
