Job summary

Kroger is hiring a pharmacy technician to support pharmacists and deliver health services in-store. You will handle reception, data entry, adjudication, and dispensing steps while ensuring privacy and customer care.

The role requires adherence to state and federal requirements and ongoing coaching of clerks and technicians. You will assist with non-dispensing services and ensure safety, sanitation, and compliance with HIPAA and company policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.
• Completion of national registration, certification or licensure.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in all responsibilities except those that require a pharmacist's professional judgement.
• Provide a stellar customer experience while accurately and efficiently completing all steps of reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and follow company policies on privacy.
• Support non-dispensing services through various platforms and applications.
• Comply with sanitation and safety regulations and report unsafe conditions.
