Job summary

Kroger is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in daily operations at our Plano location. You will assist with reception, data entry, adjudication, and dispensing while maintaining HIPAA compliance and delivering a high-quality patient experience.

You will contribute to health and wellness services, support clerks/technicians, and participate in CLIA-waived screenings and safety protocols. We offer comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.
• Completion of national registration, certification or licensure

Responsibilities

• Support HIPAA regulations and the company's policies.
• Assist pharmacist in responsibilities not requiring professional judgment.
• Provide stellar customer experience through reception, data entry, adjudication and dispensing.
• Support coaching and training of clerks and technicians.
• Compound medications per state regulations.
• Perform post-fill audits to verify prescription data.
• Support non-dispensing services across platforms and apps.
• Conduct CLIA-waived screenings as allowed by law and policy.
• Comply with sanitation and safety regulations and report unsafe conditions.
• Report illegal activity per local, state, and federal regulations.
• Perform essential job functions with/without reasonable accommodation
