Job summary

The Current South Shore in Weymouth, MA is seeking a Wellness Nurse to report to the Director of Health and Wellness. You will provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise day-to-day nursing activities by care staff, with every other weekend availability.

This role supports a senior living community focusing on well-being and safety, requires LPN licensure, at least 1 year in long-term care or similar, and involves lifting up to 50 lbs and using Microsoft Office tools.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with current LPN license.
• At least 1 year of experience in long-term care, assisted living, home health or hospital setting.
• Experience with residents with Alzheimer's or related dementias.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of federal and state nursing regulations and practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related software.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and using proper body mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Supervise care staff in accordance with regulations and policies.
• Monitor health, safety and wellbeing of residents.
• Assist in training and monitoring of medication administration.
• Maintain clinical quality assurance per standards.
