Experience Senior Living is seeking a Wellness Nurse to join our team in Lone Tree, Colorado. The role requires LVN/LPN or RN licensure, and candidates with at least two years in a senior living setting are preferred. You will manage medication, ensure safety, train care staff, and document thoroughly in the electronic health record.

Qualifications

• Must have LVN/LPN or RN license.
• Two years’ experience in a senior living environment preferred.
• Basic First Aid and CPR certification.
• Effective communication and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Charge Nurse in the absence of the Exec Dir and Director of Health & Wellness.
• Participate in medication management including orders, administration, storage and documentation per state guidelines.
• Ensure resident rooms and common areas are clean and safe.
• Train care partners and medication assistants on residents’ conditions and services.
• Assist residents with self-medication or administration of medications.
• Complete resident charting in the EHR and assist with assessments and change in condition.
• Prepare for emergencies and manage incidents as required.
• Maintain relationships with residents, families, and stakeholders.
