Job summary

German Centre Edelweiss Village in Boston, MA is seeking a Wellness Nurse – RN or LPN to provide compassionate, high-quality care in a PRN, variable-shift role. The position pays $30.00-$35.00 per hour, based on licensure and experience.

Successful candidates will have MA RN or LPN license, CPR/BLS, and prior long-term care experience, plus strong English communication. This opportunity supports residents and staff in a welcoming, inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered MA RN or LPN license.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Experience in long-term care or assisted living preferred.
• Fluency in English, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day activities and supervise nurses and CNAs to maintain high-quality resident care.
• Provide direct nursing care, monitor conditions, follow physician orders, and apply nursing standards.
• Identify changes in residents' conditions and report them; assist with interventions as needed.
• Instruct nursing staff on policies and procedures and ensure compliance with standards.

Delivering Solutions that Matter:

• Overseeing day-to-day activities, managing nurses and certified nursing assistants to ensure high-quality resident care.
• Taking full responsibility for residents' nursing care, monitoring conditions, following physician orders, and applying recognized nursing standards.
• Recognizing and reporting changes in residents' conditions, initiating or assisting with interventions, and maintaining a safe, supportive environment.
• Instructing nursing staff on policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with administrative and clinical standards.

Qualifications for Success:

• Current, unencumbered MA Registered Nurse – RN license or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• Current CPR/BLS Certification
• Prior experience in a long-term care or assisted living setting
• Ability to communicate fluently in English – both verbally and written
