Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a Wellness Nurse for a full-time overnight role in Mason, OH. You will monitor residents' health, support the health team, and ensure compliance with clinical standards while maintaining a warm, patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities include admissions coordination, care plan adherence, medication administration, and coordinating with physicians and providers. Prior geriatric nursing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current nursing license and state registration (LPN or RN)
• Knowledge of state regulations, policies, and procedures
• Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing
• Three years’ experience in assessment and geriatric nursing preferred
• A big smile, eagerness to learn, and compassion for residents

• Ensure care is delivered as indicated in resident care plans

Schedule: Full-Time. Overnight shift, 7pm-7am, and every other weekend.

Salary: $26-30.55 per hour, based on experience.

The Wellness Nurse supports the health and well-being of residents through ongoing clinical monitoring and support, provides assistance to community nurses, caregivers, and medication personnel to help ensure regulatory compliance and clinical excellence. The ability to work effectively as part of a team with flexibility and adaptability to change and pace of duties while maintaining a warm and encouraging disposition is important.

• Assist in coordination of the resident admission process including screening, assessment, and care needs
• Ensure care is delivered as indicated in resident care plans
• Medication and treatment administration and ensure medications are administered per physicians’ orders
• Assistance with coordinating care and services with other outside providers including resident physicians
• Document and report care provided and resident observations including unusual or significant changes
• Maintain a working knowledge of state regulations, policies, and procedures

Qualifications

To be successful in this position, we believe that you need the following experiences, strengths, and skills:

• Current nursing license and state registration (LPN or RN)
• Working knowledge of state regulations, policies, and procedures, dictated for compliance
• Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing
• Three years’ experience in assessment and geriatric nursing, preferred
