Job summary

HallKeen Assisted Living Communities in Boston, Massachusetts, is seeking a Wellness Nurse to support the Resident Care Director in delivering coordinated care to residents. The role includes overseeing the medication management program, supervising staff as needed, and ensuring high standards of resident safety and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current LPN/LVN license in good standing.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and patient care skills.
• Must complete HallKeen/EOEA training programs.
• Able to apply common sense and follow detailed instructions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the medication program and assist residents with self-administration.
• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living as needed.
• Coordinate appointments and services for residents.
• Maintain positive relations with residents, families and physicians.
• Report changes in residents' needs to the Resident Care Director.
• Assist in resident assessments and service plans.
• Participate in staff training and orientation.
• Assist with scheduling Resident Care Assistants and staffing.
• Comply with Elder Affairs regulations and maintain HIPAA.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
