Job summary

Serotonin Centers is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinical operations across hormone optimization, medical weight loss, recovery services, and aesthetics. You will prepare clients and rooms, capture vitals, assist with procedures, document services, and educate clients on pre- and post-care, while ensuring safety and high-quality outcomes.

You will collaborate with Health Coaches, NPs, Aestheticians, and the Medical Director to drive member satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications

• Certified/Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) preferred; phlebotomy certification a plus.
• 2+ years clinical experience in wellness, anti-aging, aesthetics, or ambulatory settings.
• Proficiency with Zenoti; comfort with the Serotonin Coach app (Trainerize) and InBody.
• Meticulous documentation, organization, and follow-through; calm under pressure.
• Empathetic communicator with strong client education skills and consultative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Intake & Readiness: verify identity, review medical history, capture vitals, prepare rooms and supplies.
• Procedure Assistance: assist with BHRT pellet insertion setup, GLP-1 injections, IV/IM therapy, blood draws, aesthetics.
• Medication Support & Refill: educate patients, document teaching, manage prior authorizations and refills.
• Documentation & EMR Accuracy: maintain complete, audit-ready records in Zenoti, template-driven.
• Client Education & Communication: provide procedure and post-care education; follow-up via app/phone.
• Inventory, Equipment & Facility Standards: monitor stock, maintain equipment logs, infection control.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration & Events: support Health Coaches, NPs, Aestheticians; assist with events.
• Sales & Service Knowledge: complete product training; demonstrate consultative communication.
• Safety & Compliance: adhere to HIPAA/OSHA; SHARPS disposal and emergency protocols.
• Team Operations & Continuous Improvement: daily huddles; report and collect feedback; training in LMS.
