YMCA of Greater Houston is seeking staff to provide excellent member service in a safe, engaging environment that promotes wellness and healthy living. You will assist on the wellness floor, monitor equipment, and encourage participation in programs while upholding YMCA policies.

Role requires 18+ age and CPR/First Aid/AED certs with child abuse prevention training at hire. Prior related experience and comfort with diverse populations are preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• CPR, First Aid, AED certifications, and Child Abuse prevention training upon hire.
• Previous related work experience preferred.
• Previous experience with diverse populations preferred.

Responsabilités

• Promotes YMCA core values and character development.
• Assist members on wellness floor and uphold safety standards.
• Monitor wellness floor and equipment; report accidents.
• Keep equipment neat and clean and report repairs as needed.
• Respond to member questions and concerns; build relationships.
• Promote Personal Training and other programs offered.
