Job summary

YMCA of Florida’s First Coast is seeking a wellness-focused trainer to design and deliver health programs, orient members, and assess fitness levels for a diverse community in Florida.

You will lead personal training sessions, ensure safety, and contribute to community health goals while upholding YMCA standards and services. CPR/First Aid/AED required; certifications may be updated within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing wellness programs for individuals or groups.
• CPR, First Aid and AED certifications required.
• Personal training certification preferred within 90 days.
• National YMCA training and leadership certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on wellness services including orientations, fitness assessments, personal training, post-rehabilitation and adaptive wellness.
• Maintain member safety and program quality; meet appointment goals.
• Develop and lead group programs and track attendance.
