Job summary

The Native Village of Eyak in Cordova, Alaska seeks a Wellness Events Coordinator to plan and execute wellness-focused events, manage logistics, and oversee budgets. This full-time role is 100% onsite in Cordova, requires strong coordination with Tribal Family Services and community stakeholders.

Two years of event management experience, a high school diploma, and a valid driver’s license are required. The position features a comprehensive benefits package and regular, year-round event

Qualifications

• Two years of event or project management experience required.
• Knowledge of event planning, logistics, vendor management, budgeting, and customer service principles.
• Strong organizational, project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain insurable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute special events and programs from inception through completion.
• Coordinate and oversee major annual events including but not limited to Plant Symposium and Alaganic Picnic.
• Coordinate event setup, on-site operations, and post-event breakdown activities.
• Manage event registration processes, attendee communications, and participant records.
• Monitor event budgets, process invoices, track expenditures, and assist with budget planning.
