Job summary

HealthFitness is seeking an onsite Wellness Engagement Specialist in San Mateo, CA to develop, coordinate, and implement a broad range of fitness and health promotion activities for client populations. You will provide health coaching, participate in screenings and campaigns, and support wellness programming across locations while upholding HealthFitness protocols and HIPAA standards.

Minimum requirements include a health-related bachelor’s degree and CPR/AED/First Aid certifications; master’s

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field from an accredited college/university.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification required with in-person component.
• Group Exercise or Personal Trainer certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NCCPT or NETA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver health coaching sessions in person or by phone.
• Coordinate and promote wellness programs, health fairs, screenings, and campaigns.
• Support client sites with workshops, presentations, and on-site activities.
• Maintain schedule across multiple locations and ensure program quality.
