Job summary

QSL Management is seeking a Director of Wellness for The Barclay House of Carrollton to lead daily operations in the wellness department and ensure high-quality resident care.

You will supervise nursing and personal care staff, assess residents' health and psychosocial needs, and ensure compliance with Federal and State guidelines while promoting safety, dignity, and service excellence. Flexible to shifts including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• A caring heart and willingness to serve others.
• LPN license and state requirements; CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred; clinical background in long-term care.
• Minimum three years of nursing experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Experience in hiring staff, budgeting and staff scheduling.
• Experience in Assisted Living or Long-term care; dementia care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures effective and efficient daily operations within the wellness (Nursing Care) department.
• Directly supervises nursing and personal care staff in resident well-being and care.
• Assesses health, functional and psycho-social status of residents and proactively manages their care.
• Ensures superior care and promotes service excellence.
• Ensures community meets all Federal and State guidelines and requirements.
