Job summary

The Barclay House at Carrollton in Georgia is seeking a Director of Wellness to oversee the nursing care program and staff, ensuring compassionate, high-quality resident care.

You will supervise nursing and personal care teams, assess residents’ health and psychosocial needs, and ensure compliance with Federal and State guidelines while maintaining service excellence. The role also requires flexibility to cover nights, weekends and holidays and experience in assisted living or long-term care.

Qualifications

• Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others.
• Three years of nursing experience.
• Two years supervisory experience required.
• Experience hiring staff, managing budgets and schedules.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program is preferred.
• Experience in Assisted Living or Long-term care is preferred.
• Experience in dementia care is preferred.
• Flexible to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operations of the wellness (Nursing Care) department.
• Supervises nursing and personal care staff to manage resident well-being and care.
• Assesses health, functional and psycho-social status of residents and proactively manages care.
• Ensures superior care and promotes service excellence.
• Ensures community compliance with Federal and State guidelines.
