Job summary

Qualifications

• RN or LPN licensure in the applicable state.
• 5+ years of long-term care management experience preferred.
• Associate degree or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Defines and maintains nursing practice within the community, monitoring all aspects of resident care.
• Evaluates staffing quality and cost-effectiveness in the nursing department.
• Develops policies and procedures governing nursing services with Executive Director oversight.
• Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines including Infection Control.
• Develops and oversees in-service education programs and QA initiatives.
• Oversees provision of medications, treatments, and nursing services per care plan and physician orders.
• Monitors inventories of drugs and supplies.
• Coordinates residents’ plan of care and assesses admission needs.
