Job summary

StoryPoint and Independence Village seek a Wellness Director to oversee clinical resident care services, directing overall wellness operations within the community. The role focuses on 1440 care standards, staff leadership, and revenue-aligned care planning.

The position requires state-licensed nursing credentials, leadership experience, and a track record of improving care quality while managing costs. A flexible schedule, including on-call and occasional weekends, is expected.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in the state preferred. CDP required within 90 days of hire. Assisted Living/Memory Care experience preferred.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Proven ability to manage revenue and financials successfully.
• Proven high performer.
• Ability to work through complex issues; problem solve.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and be accountable for your team and their performance.
• Drive revenue for Wellness, Evaluations & Care Conferences and Service Plans with appropriate staffing.
• Coordinate Alzheimer’s and Dementia programs.
• Lead 1440 care standards in the community.
• Communicate vision and align organizational goals with staff and residents.
• Build partnerships with community leaders and external partners.
