Job summary

Bridge Senior Living is hiring a compassionate Wellness Director in Huntsville, AL. You will coordinate and supervise care and services to residents to achieve clinical and wellness goals, while guiding multiple clinical departments in a compliant, person-centered model.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Senior Living or equivalent, NR/NPN eligibility per state, and 3+ years as a Director of Nursing in senior living, with leadership duties including budget, staffing and regulatory oversight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education/experience in Senior Living.
• LPN or RN required based on state regulations.
• First Aid and CPR certified.
• At least 3 years work experience as Director of Nursing in the senior living industry.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise care and services to Residents to achieve clinical, emotional and wellness outcomes.
• Establish and monitor goals and expectations for all clinical departments.
• Develop departmental budgets, re-forecasts and staffing plans.
• Develop, implement and monitor the Quality Improvement, Safety, Infection, Disaster and Environmental Control Programs.
• Participate in and oversee the admission and on-going Resident assessment and care planning process.
• Oversee surveys and inspections made by government agencies.
• Complete appropriate forms, reports, evaluations, and studies.
• Conduct clinical staff supervisory responsibilities including hiring, orientation, training, scheduling, coaching, monitoring, counseling, discipline and terminations
