Job summary

YMCA of the Suncoast (Greater Palm Harbor Branch) is seeking a Wellness Trainee to work under the Wellness Director and complete the 60-day qualification for the Wellness Floor Coach role. You will greet members, assist with training needs, and help keep the wellness center organized and safe.

Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, enforcing policies, and providing a high level of member service. CPR/First Aid training is required, with ongoing opportunities within the YMCA’s wellness

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and high school graduate or equivalent.
• Knowledge of selectorized equipment and free weight training.
• Willing to complete required trainings within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and assist with training needs.
• Maintain equipment and ensure clean facilities.
• Enforce wellness floor policies and safety procedures.
• Provide CPR/First Aid when needed.
