Job summary

HealthFitness is opening a brand-new site in Omaha, Nebraska this October. We are seeking a Health Fitness Professional who is energetic, people-focused, and passionate about helping others achieve health goals.

You will coordinate and deliver health and fitness programs and lead assessments and coaching. The role requires an associate degree or 2+ years' fitness experience, relevant certifications, and the ability to motivate members.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in a related field or 2+ years’ fitness/wellness experience.
• OSHA compliant First Aid/ CPR/ AED certification required.
• Group Exercise Instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NCCPT or NETA; if not current within 60 days.
• NCCA Accredited Personal Trainer certification required; if not current within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Lead fitness assessments, personal coaching, and group exercise classes.
• Provide outstanding service to members and program participants.
• Coordinate and deliver HealthFitness programs and outreach activities.
• Conduct fitness testing and tailor individualized plans.
• Promote program offerings and assist onboarding new participants.
