Job summary

WorkCare, Inc. is seeking an independent contractor to conduct on-site fitness screenings at Willits and Fort Bragg, CA, following ACSM guidelines.

You will perform FMS, BP, and body fat measurements, and provide guidance on mobility, exercise, nutrition, stress management, and general health education. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology or Kinesiology, FMS Level 1, CPR/AED, and at least 3 years of wellness coaching experience, with travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, or related field.
• FMS Level 1 or higher certification; capable of obtaining certification upon hire.
• 3 years of experience providing wellness and fitness testing services and coaching.
• Fitness testing experience (FMS, etc.) required; CPR/AED certification required.
• Strong health and fitness knowledge and excellent computer skills.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site fitness screenings including FMS, BP, body fat via BIA.
• Provide guidance on mobility, exercise, injury prevention, nutrition, stress.
• Provide virtual follow-up coaching for blood pressure and cholesterol management.
• Data entry to create screening reports and corrective programs.
