Workcare is seeking an independent contractor for on-site fitness screenings in Visalia, CA. You will guide participants on mobility, exercise, injury prevention, nutrition, stress management, and general health education.

A bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology or related field is required, with CPR/AED and FMS certification preferred. You will also provide virtual follow-up coaching on health management areas, enter data for reports, and travel up to 50% across scheduled sites.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, or related field is required.
• FMS Level 1 or higher certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
• 3 years of wellness/fitness testing and coaching experience, preferably with first responders.
• Fitness testing experience (FMS etc.) is required.
• CPR/AED certification required.
• Strong health & fitness knowledge and excellent computer skills a must.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct various on-site fitness screenings including FMS, BP, and body fat measurements.
• Provide guidance on mobility, exercise, injury prevention, nutrition, stress management and education.
• Provide virtual follow up coaching relating to blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes and general health education.
• Data entry to create FMS screening reports and corrective exercise programs.
