Job summary

Fellowship Square in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Wellness Coach to design and deliver personalized fitness programs for residents, guiding them toward stronger health and wellbeing.

You will lead instruction, assess needs, and collaborate with multiple departments to provide a holistic wellness experience, with a focus on aging gracefully and maintaining independence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Sport Science, or related field.
• Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) credential.
• At least 3 years of experience in fitness training, preferably with seniors.
• In-depth knowledge of physiology and kinesiology related to aging and physical wellness.
• Outstanding communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proficient in computer operations and standard software/digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement customized fitness and wellness programs based on residents’ goals and abilities.
• Provide hands-on instruction in exercise techniques and healthy lifestyle habits.
• Assess residents’ physical needs and adjust programs to ensure progress.
• Serve as coach, motivator, and educator in health and wellness.
• Collaborate with Dining, Wellness, Spiritual Life, Operations to deliver holistic care.
• Maintain accurate records, assessments, and progress documentation.
• Participate in ongoing training, staff development, and group classes.
• Promote engagement and hospitality to enhance resident satisfaction.

About The Role As a Wellness Coach, you won’t just lead fitness classes, you’ll build meaningful relationships and help residents rediscover strength, resilience, and joy through personalized wellness programs. Your work will be deeply rooted in compassion, hospitality, and purpose.
