Job summary

The Houstonian Hotel, Club & Spa is seeking a friendly Barista to prepare coffee, smoothies, and wellness beverages for guests in a luxury spa setting. You will greet customers, take orders, and ensure quick, high-quality service while maintaining wellness standards.

Responsibilities include coffee and pastry preparation, cash handling, POS operation, and keeping the bar area clean and organized. Flexibility for peak hours, mornings, weekends, and holidays is required to uphold exceptional guest

Qualifications

• High school education is preferred but not required.
• Previous barista or café experience preferred (hospitality or spa environment a plus).
• Fluent English is required to communicate with guests and team members.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, take orders, inform about specials, and process payments.
• Prepare beverages and foods per recipes, including coffee, smoothies, and snacks.
• Maintain cleanliness, restock items, sanitize equipment, and update signage throughout service areas.
• Handle cash and operate the POS system accurately during service.
