The Genesis Company in Jefferson City, Missouri, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. You will provide comprehensive care, including wellness treatments such as BHRT and GLP-1s, and collaborate with physicians to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Master's in Physician Assistant Studies
• Current Nurse Practitioner certification (e.g., ANCC, AANP) in specialty, if applicable.
• Current Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination (PANCE)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant preferred.
• Experience in wellness treatments (HRT, GLP-1s) and aesthetic services.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications and other therapies as needed.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging studies.
• Perform BHRT insertions and and BHRT cream management.
• Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education.
