Villa At the Bay is seeking a Recreational Services Director to plan, implement and evaluate recreational, physical, emotional and psychosocial programs for residents according to assessments and care plans. You will lead activity programming, prepare monthly schedules, coordinate volunteers, and document progress in residents' records.

Qualifications

• Must be a qualified therapeutic recreation specialist or an activities professional licensed or registered by the State.
• Has completed a State-approved training course.
• Has 2 years of experience in a social or recreational program; health care setting preferred.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Implements activity programming as planned and assigned to meet resident needs.
• Prepares and posts a monthly schedule of activities.
• Coordinates, directs, and conducts all planned activities.
• Documents in resident medical records and updates care plans with progress notes.
• Attends care conferences and reports to Administrator on a regular basis.
• Assists with resident council and coordinates volunteers.
