Job summary

The Arc Lexington in New York State is seeking an Activities Coordinator to organize and coordinate wellness activities for people we support, using small and large group formats across diverse programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Therapeutic Recreation or a similar field is required.
• At least two years of experience planning activities or a similar role and working with people with developmental disabilities is required.
• Valid NYS Driver's License with 2 years of experience required.
• Use of own vehicle is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate wellness activities using small and large group formats to enhance the lives of the people we support.
• Coordinate and schedule programs across multiple wellness initiatives.
• Collaborate with care teams to tailor activities to individual needs.
