Job summary

Cactus Wellhead is seeking Wellhead Technicians to install, test, service, and repair wellhead equipment for oilfield operations in Oklahoma City. The role emphasizes hands-on mechanical work in challenging field environments, with safety and customer satisfaction as top priorities.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 years of related experience, and relevant safety certifications (H2S, SafeLand, DOT). A valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination.
• Customer required training.
• Certifications in H2S, SafeLand, and DOT (when driving vehicles over 10,001 GVWR).
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours per shift.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment and power tools.
• Ability to work in extreme weather, loud noise, dust, fumes, and chemicals.
• Wear required PPE and follow all safety protocols.
• Pre-employment drug screening, background checks, and medical examinations may be required.
