Job summary

Cactus Wellhead is seeking Field Service Technicians in Bossier City, LA to install, service and repair wellhead equipment in oilfield environments. This role requires hands-on mechanical work, strong safety practices, and customer interaction on remote sites.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of field service experience in wellhead operations, a high school diploma or GED, and relevant safety certifications. Lifting, travel, and PPE use are required in this full-time field role.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of wellhead or oilfield field service experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• H2S, SafeLand, and DOT certifications (for vehicles over 10,001 GVWR).
• Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with wellhead tools/equipment.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, work extended shifts, and travel to remote sites.
• Valid driver’s license and clean record.
• Ability to wear PPE and work in extreme field conditions.

Responsibilities

• Install, service and repair wellhead equipment at oilfield sites.
• Perform hands-on mechanical work and troubleshoot in remote environments.
• Document operations and interact with customers while ensuring safety and compliance.
