Job summary

Downingusa is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, test, and repair surface wellhead equipment in field and shop environments. The role requires reading blueprints, performing repairs on valves and actuators, and ensuring customer satisfaction through timely service.

Responsibilities include assembling and testing new and used equipment, documenting service activities, and coordinating with customers to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; related training may be accepted.
• Minimum two years of relevant field service experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Install and test equipment per procedures.
• Communicate with customers about equipment status and needs.
• Repair customer property and rental assets including valves, wellheads, and spools.
• Assemble, test, and paint wellhead/tree sections as required.
• Provide feedback on problems to appropriate personnel for resolution.
• Prepare service orders and documentation accurately.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction with timely service.
• Perform shop maintenance and handle tools safely.
• Troubleshoot and tear down customer equipment for inspection and repair.
