Job summary

Axis Energy Services, LLC. seeks a Floor Hand to support well service operations on a 4-5 person crew. Responsibilities include rigging up and down, handling rods, tubing, and casing, and operating rig tools to service customers safely and efficiently.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, basic oilfield experience, and at least 1 year of rig floor operation. Candidates must have a valid driver's license and be able to work a 12-hour shift, outdoors in varied weather.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or the equivalent is preferred.
• Basic oilfield well servicing experience.
• Minimum of 1 year rig floor operation experience.
• Valid state driver license with acceptable MVR.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Able to work a varied rotational schedule and travel as the job requires.
• Work may be performed in all weather conditions.
• Mobility to climb ladders, enter confined spaces, and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in rigging up and down the rig and align it with the well.
• Operate rig tools such as rod wrenches, tongs, elevators during well servicing.
• Assist in handling tubing, rods, and casing on the rig floor.
• Maintain and repair rig equipment and hand tools.
• Report safety hazards or maintenance issues to the Rig Supervisor.
• Work safely and in compliance with company policies and procedures.
