Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking an RN to supervise and coordinate nursing staff on the Well Baby Nursery during the night shift, ensuring quality and continuity of patient care. The RN will use the nursing process for assessments, planning of care, and interventions, coordinating with physicians and clinicians as needed.

Educational requirements include a Nursing degree with active RN licensure and BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC or equivalent certifications may be required depending on the area assigned.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing required.
• Active RN licensure required.
• BLS required.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, etc. may be required depending upon area assigned.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of nursing personnel on shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Collaborate with physicians and other clinicians in planning and implementing patient care.
• Utilize the nursing process in patient assessments, planning of care, and performance of care interventions.
