Job summary

Lifetime Benefit Solutions, Inc. seeks a benefits plan consultant to draft, review, and edit plan documents, SPDs, SBCs, amendments, and SMMs under management guidance.

You will provide benefit plan design and compliance consulting to internal clients and coordinate with internal teams on plan documentation, while maintaining accurate records and ensuring privacy. Remote work opportunities may be available on a case-by-case basis.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of claims processing experience or paralegal-related experience.
• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of ERISA, Internal Revenue Code, HIPAA, COBRA, and Health Care Reform.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness to learn welfare benefit plan regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Drafts, reviews, and edits welfare benefit plan documentation.
• Prepares Form 5500s and assists with filing.
• Assists clients via non-discrimination testing website and tests issues.
• Maintains client files, billing records, and information.
• Coordinates plan design implementation with internal departments and responds to inquiries.
• Interprets welfare benefit plan documentation for internal clients.
