Job summary

Lifetime Benefit Solutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced benefits professional to draft, review, and edit welfare plan documents and SPDs/SBCs under management guidance. The role focuses on compliance, documentation, and client communications.

You will support plan design, coordinate with internal teams, prepare Form 5500s, maintain files, and ensure privacy and integrity of member information while upholding company values and standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of claims processing experience including knowledge of coding (ICD9/10, CPT) and claim adjudication processes.
• Knowledge of ERISA, Internal Revenue Code, HIPAA, COBRA, and Health Care Reform.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drafts, reviews, and edits welfare benefit plan documentation per standards and processes.
• Prepares and reviews Form 5500s and assists with filing.
• Provides client access to non-discrimination testing website and assists with questions/tests.
• Maintains client files, billing records, and information.
• Coordinates with internal departments to implement plan design and respond to inquiries.
• Interprets welfare benefit plan documentation for internal clients.
