Job summary

Lippert is launching a Welder Trainee Program with a 6-week paid training period led by Certified Welding Instructors. The program begins January 2027 and starts with a wage of $20.00 per hour. Trainees learn to weld Lippert’s towing and truck accessories and may be promoted to Welder 1 upon successful completion of the program.

No prior experience is required to apply, and first-shift classes are available in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Work Experience: No prior experience required. Prior manufacturing experience beneficial.
• Computer Skills: Basic computer skills helpful.

Responsibilities

• Report to class on time.
• Report to class ready to learn.
• Wear appropriate attire for production floor. (Long pants, steel-toed boots or shoes, metatarsal guards)
• Listen and follow instructions.
• Ask questions.
• Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
