Job summary

Lippert in Eau Claire, WI, offers a Welder Trainee Program. Over six weeks you learn to weld our towing and truck accessories from Certified Welding Instructors; this is paid training. Starting wage is $20.00 per hour. Classes are available on 1st shift.

Upon successful completion you will be promoted to Welder 1 with a pay increase. This program is designed to build welding skills with hands-on instruction and on-the-job experience.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; manufacturing experience beneficial.
• Basic computer skills helpful.
• Ability to lift, bend and twist throughout the day; lift 50–75 pounds regularly, up to 90 lbs occasionally.

Lippert is thrilled to announce our Welder Trainee Program! In just 6 weeks you learn how to weld our custom towing and truck accessories from Certified Welding Instructors. This is paid training! Upon successful completion of our program you will be promoted to a Welder 1 and receive a pay increase! Classes are available on 1st shift.

Welder Trainee

Starting wage $20.00 per hour

Our Welder Trainees will learn and develop welding skills to align and fit fabricated steel structures per engineer drawings. No experience necessary.

• Physical, Mental and Visual Skills: Ability to lift, bend, and twist throughout the workday; will be required to lift between 50 to 75 pounds on a regular basis, and up to 90lbs occasionally.
