Job summary

Lippert Components, Inc. in Wisconsin invites applications for its Welder Trainee Program. In six weeks you learn how to weld our towing and truck accessories from Certified Welding Instructors; this is paid training. Upon successful completion you will be promoted to Welder 1 with a pay increase.

Classes are available on 1st shift. Starting wage is $20.00 per hour. No prior experience required; manufacturing experience is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Work Experience: No prior experience required; manufacturing experience beneficial.
• Computer Skills: Basic computer skills helpful.
• Physical, Mental and Visual Skills: Ability to lift 50–75 pounds regularly and up to 90 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Report to class on time.
• Report to class ready to learn.
• Wear appropriate attire for production floor (long pants, steel-toed boots).
• Listen and follow instructions.
• Ask questions.
• Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
