Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is hiring a Welder in the Easton, PA area. You will maintain and repair shoring and shielding equipment to maximize branch productivity and service trench safety rental equipment.

You will travel to job sites as required and ensure all work is performed safely and to spec. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, welding school certification, and 1–2 years of Arc, MIG, and TIG welding experience, with strong attention to detail and customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Welding certification is required or preferred.
• 1–2 years of Arc, MIG and TIG welding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Layout and apply the appropriate weld type according to specifications.
• Inspect, repair and paint rental equipment to ensure it is rental-ready and safe.
• Perform non-structural repairs or modifications per manufacturer specs.
• Travel to customer sites for repair/maintenance as needed.
• Complete work orders and maintain inventory of repair parts.
