Qualifications

• High School diploma with welding tech training and blueprint reading knowledge.
• AWS 14.1 welding code training; certification desirable.
• 3–5 years welding experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Set up weldments according to blueprint specifications.
• Place and align jigs and fixtures to hold parts and mount work piece onto welding positioner.
• Position C-clamps, bar clamps, install shims, wedges, and spacers to align weldments.
• Weld together metal assemblies using arc, shielded arc, flux core, MIG and TIG processes per blueprint specs.
• Apply state-of-the-art welding technology to complete welds.

Education
