Job summary

Menasha Corporation is seeking a welding technician to join our manufacturing team. You will interpret blueprints and schematics to select the correct welding process, inspect welds for structural integrity and ensure safe, efficient machine operation.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting equipment, maintaining a clean, safe work environment, supporting continuous improvement initiatives and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet quality and production goals.

Qualifications

• Interpret blueprints, specifications, diagrams or schematics to determine appropriate welding process.
• Inspect completed welds to determine structural soundness.
• Start up and shut down machines properly.
• Consistently and safely operates machines at or above standards of operation including waste, quality, efficiency and utilization.
• Troubleshoot, identify and correct machine/rack -related problems through proper adjustments to various parts of the machine.
• The ability and flexibility to work in non-welding areas when the situation presents itself.
• Work in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective, safety equipment and devices that are required.
• Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement; promote and sustain CI, 5S and STW activities.
• Contribute to a team effort.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
