Metalcraft of Mayville, Inc. is seeking an experienced Manual Welder to join our manufacturing team. You will perform MIG welding to fabricate metal parts and assemblies according to blueprints, specifications, and weld standards, and inspect work to ensure quality.

The ideal candidate has hands-on welding experience, can read blueprints and welding symbols, set up equipment, and work independently in a fast-paced environment while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years welding experience preferred.
• Must be able to read blueprints and welding symbols.
• Ability to set up welding equipment and follow WPS.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual MIG welding to fabricate metal parts and assemblies.
• Follow Welding Procedure Specifications and weld standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and work instructions.
• Set up and adjust welding equipment as needed.
• Inspect and measure completed parts to ensure they meet specifications and quality requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Perform prescribed preventative maintenance on welding equipment and machinery.
• Safely operate lifts, cranes, and other equipment as required.
