Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking skilled technicians for manufacturing and assembly work in the Seattle area. The role involves support for launch vehicle and propulsion system assembly, with emphasis on precision drilling and close-tolerance work.

Applicants should have strong communication skills and an aerospace background, plus an A&P license or equivalent. The position offers relocation assistance and an on-site schedule in the Greater Seattle Area.

This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.

Shift available: B Shift, 3:00 PM – 1:30 AM, Monday – Thursday Relocation provided Full-time position Greater Seattle Area Multiple positions available

Minimum Qualifications

• Excellent demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
• 5+ years' experience in aerospace or related fields.
• Ability to communicate differing opinions in a collaborative environment without conflict among other team members.
• Ability to use standard mechanical tools and fabrication shop equipment.
• Demonstrated capability to drill and prepare close-tolerance holes for fastener installation.
• A&P license or equivalent experience in launch vehicle or propulsion system assembly and integration.
• Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Preferred Qualifications

• 0+ years of experience in launch vehicle or propulsion system assembly and vehicle integration.
• Experience operating heavy lifting equipment such as cranes and forklifts around flight-critical hardware.
• Experience with 3-D measurement tools such as Faro Arms, Laser Trackers, and Verisurf software.
• Familiarity with harness routing.
• Blueprint reading experience.
• Familiarity with propellant/hydraulic line installation and routing.
• Knowledge in the use of 3-D CAD tools (Creo preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret GD&T per ASME Y14.5M-1994 standard.

Compensation

• Compensation range for on-site WA applicants is $36.27 – $49.73 per hour. Other site ranges may differ.
• Base Pay Range for: WA applicants is $39.34 - $55.07 Other site ranges may differ.
