Job summary

Generac in Wisconsin is seeking a skilled welder to join our manufacturing team. You will perform welding tasks, interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to accurately execute welds, and support robotic welding operations across multiple product lines while complying with safety rules.

The role requires a high school diploma or certification, a basic knowledge of Mig welding equipment, and the ability to follow directions and work in a team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or certification required.
• Internal written and physical weld test.
• An understanding of welding fundamentals.
• Basic welding experience and/or training.
• Basic knowledge of Mig welding equipment.
• Ability to follow direction and work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Comply with the company/site safety rules.
• Perform safe and effective operation of all equipment needed to perform job function.
• Flex across different products and areas to support business needs.
• Provide training to new employees or employees learning new work areas to work instructions/standard work.
• Follow established procedures, processes, or policies.
• Interpret and understand engineering drawings and blueprints to accurately execute welding tasks.
• Assist with robotic welder.
• Additional duties as assigned.
