Job summary

MAC Trailer is seeking driven individuals for welding and fabrication of aluminum trailers. Candidates must have welding and/or fabrication experience, and will undergo a comprehension welding test at interview to determine starting wage.

Essential duties include operating welding equipment, welding in various positions, inspecting for defects, reading blueprints, and following safety rules. Regular hours 7:00am–3:30pm, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Welding and/or fabrication experience required.
• Welding test at interview to determine starting wage.
• Ability to read blueprints and work orders.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding across flat, vertical, and overhead positions with on-the-job training.
• Set and operate welding equipment.
• Examine work pieces for defects and ensure conformance with specs.
• Position and secure work pieces using hoists, cranes, and hand tools.
• Follow all safety rules and practices.
