Calling all skilled welding technicians! Schneider Electric is seeking dedicated individuals to join our dynamic Welding team. In this role, you'll be responsible for preparing, cutting, punching, and welding metal for our innovative product line.

What will you do?

• Require welding experience, including MIG and spot welding
• Set up, operate, and adjust equipment such as Trumpf, Barline, Finnpower, Engel roll-form, etc.
• Fill in for other operators as needed
• Start up and shut down equipment
• Operate the line in auto or manual mode
• Load raw stock into the line and prepare materials
• Conduct quality tests for defects
• Sort and dispose of scrap, and write scrap tickets
• Work from blueprints, sketches, routings, and other documents
• Maintain quality and productivity standards
• Input information into systems regarding schedules, quality, downtime, PM, etc.
• Operate material handling equipment
• Maintain equipment, record production, and keep daily logs
• Adjust tooling as needed
• Maintain equipment through cleaning, tightening bolts, checking oil levels, and reporting issues
• Follow safety procedures and maintain good housekeeping

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience with MIG/Spot welding and fabrication
• Experience setting dies
• Ability to develop basic computer skills
• Forklift experience preferred
