Job summary

Loenbro is seeking a skilled Pipefitter for on-site work in Andrews, TX. The candidate will read isometrics and piping specifications, lay out, cut, bevel, and fit pipe for welding, and assemble systems to project tolerances. Strong focus on safety and quality in a fabrication shop environment.

Required are 3+ years in industrial pipe fitting and experience with carbon steel piping, plus ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a hands-on shop setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial pipe fitting experience preferred.
• Strong ability to read and interpret piping drawings and specifications.
• Experience with carbon steel piping is required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fabrication shop.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret isometric drawings, blueprints, spool sheets, and piping specifications.
• Lay out, measure, cut, bevel, and fit pipe for welding and fabrication.
• Assemble piping systems and components according to project specs and tolerances.
• Verify dimensions, alignments, and fit-up quality prior to welding.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, cutting equipment, grinders, and beveling machines safely.
• Assist with rigging, material handling, and movement of pipe and fabricated assemblies.
• Inspect materials and completed assemblies.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Comply with all safety policies, procedures, and quality standards.
