Curtiss-Wright EMS - Target Rock in Farmingdale, NY, seeks a Welding Supervisor to lead welding and fabrication process improvements. You will drive technology upgrades, establish project plans, supervise new equipment setups, and monitor ROI and KPIs across cost and quality metrics.

The role requires a strong welding background with at least 10 years in manufacturing, including 3 years of supervisory experience, and US citizenship.

Qualifications

• Minimum ten (10) years of experience with at least 3 years in supervisory roles.
• Advanced education and strong welding background with broad metal properties knowledge.
• At least 10 years hands-on welding experience (oxyacetylene, PTA, GTA, LASER, EBW).
• US citizenship or eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Lead evaluation and implementation of new welding tech and tooling.
• Develop and maintain project plans for improvement activities.
• Supervise setup and operation of new equipment and ensure proper usage.
• Track ROI and KPIs for cost, quality, and throughput.
• Administer welder workmanship program and lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure process optimization.
