BWX Technologies, Inc. is hiring a Welding Specialist for its Barberton, Ohio site. You will follow detailed welding plans, support shop personnel, and ensure quality standards during critical welding activities.

The role is on-site in Barberton, OH and requires strong communication and teamwork. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of welding experience, knowledge of SMAW, GTAW, AGTAW-CW/HW, AGMAW, SAW, SA-GMAW, and the ability to obtain a DOE security clearance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years welding experience in a shop environment.
• Knowledge of SMAW, GTAW, AGTAW-CW/HW, AGMAW, SAW, SA-GMAW welding processes.

Responsibilities

• Supports welding operations by following manufacturing plans and directing shop personnel.
• Programs welding parameters on programmable equipment.
• Trains welders and operators in welding processes and equipment.
• Assists with equipment improvement projects and PM activities.
• Prepares welding/fabrication training materials.
