Hadrian is seeking an R&D Engineer to join our welding development center. In this hands-on role you will design tooling, fixtures, and development parts, and work closely with welding engineers to prototype and test in a real shop environment.

Split between design and the shop floor, you will help translate development needs into manufacturable, automated processes, support equipment buys, and coordinate with Build, Software, Tooling, Automation, and NDT teams to keep projects moving.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Welding Engineering or Industrial Engineering
• 2+ years manufacturing or mechanical design
• Proficient in CAD and GD&T and tolerance analysis
• Experience with shop-floor tooling and metrology
• Exposure to machining, assembly, welding, additive and inspection

Responsabilités

• Support welding equipment needs for development and CAD support
• Develop concepts for automation, tooling, fixtures, and parts
• Weld actual parts in a development setting
• Bridge automation, tooling and welding into capable processes
• Coordinate across Build, Software, Tooling, Automation, and NDT
